This barn style oak framed extension was designed to fit alongside a listed farmhouse and outbuildings. It is entirely self supporting and includes plenty of direct glazing and large French doors to gain lots of light and wonderful views across the garden. The owners are keen gardeners and so the barn extends beyond the enclosed space to provide a sheltered area extending the living and gardening space outside even in bad weather at one end and pairs of French doors leading to the patio at one end and the garden from the front elevation. It is used as a dining space, garden room and lounge and has modestly enhanced the property and the owners enjoyment of it.
