From the Forest to the Sea is inspired by the Forest of Dean’s rich industrial heritage and makes connections between the past and the present. TFCo collaborated with artists Denman + Gould who were commissioned to create site specific works of art as part of the Destination Lydney Harbour regeneration project. Working very closely with the artists to bring their vision into reality, TFCo liaised with Artura structural engineers and designed the timber specifications and connections, managed the logistics and installation on site for the oak framed Tower, the Coal Arch in scorch blackened douglas fir and supplied reclaimed and re-sawn Ekki timber for the Lookout octagonal roof.
