We worked closely with the architects to provide a new structural oak roof to the remodelled and extended house. This replacement extension provides a light, open plan space for the kitchen and dining space overlooking the garden. The green oak King Post trusses use traditional pegged carpentry joints and metal stitch bolts, they have a planed and oiled finish and sit well within the otherwise contemporary space constructed with sustainable materials and systems helping to reduce the overall running costs and carbon footprint of the building.
