Sullingstead
August 2011
Our kitchen & pool frames at Sullingstead are in September’s House and Garden magazine.
The house at Sullingstead is a Grade II listed building and is an excellent example of the Arts and Crafts style of original Architect Edwin Lutyens. The house was recently updated by modern architect Michael Edwards and we provided the kitchen and pool room frames that the article features.

Sundial House
March 2011
One of our projects is in March’s edition of 25 Beautiful Homes.
We designed the frame for this new barn style house with architect Gary Bain. The house replaces an older building and is built using the same footprint. It is an ‘upside down’ style house, allowing the living areas to make the most of the surrounding views.

Hadspen Belvedere
January 2011
The Hadspen Belvedere has been recognised by the Architects Journal Small Projects 2011 shortlist. The project was built on site using timber from the estate in collaboration with David Grandorge and his architectural undergraduates students from London Metropolitan University. We consulted on the frame design details, provided tuition and helped the students to cut and erect the finished frame, which can be seen on the AJ website by clicking Here.

Abingdon Boathouse
January 2009
Abingdon Boathouse has been featured in a book
Creating the Abingdon School Boathouse resulted in one of the largest timber frame structures to be built in living memory. It is a remarkable and much loved building that was built by an international team of framers. The finished building is featured in a new book called ‘Boathouses’ by architectural historian, Clare Sherriff.
