Commercial eco build

When we were approached to help with the design and construction of this building the brief was exacting.  The building had to be as eco friendly as possible using biodegradable materials wherever possible (so no or minimal concrete).  The finished structure must have the potential to be moved to another location.

One way that we helped the team to meet these goals was by suggesting the use of greenheart for the foundations.  Greenheart is an amazingly robust material that survives without preservatives - for this reason it has been used for many years by the maritime industry. 

This case study shows those foundations and the summarises the build of this stylish building.
