The TFCo consulted on and provided lectures, carpentry and installation assistance to David Grandorge and his year 7 students, constructing the building on site from oak sourced directly from the estate. The building is constructed in green oak, the cantilevered roof deck collects water storing it in large tanks on the first floor to fill drinking troughs for pigs and irrigate the orchard during dry spells. The floors are connected by galvanised steel stairs and hand rails.
