RIBA House of the Year 2015

December 2015

Congratulations to architectural practice Skene Catling de la Pena on winning RIBA's house of the year for "Flint House".  It's great to see such an innovative and attractive project do well.

We worked with Charlotte Skene Catling on the development of the Dairy House (itself the winner of the BHA One-off House of the Year, 2008 and pictured above).  We helped to detail and model the walls of the house, which are made up of layers of glass and wood.  They were so interested in the design that Pilkington donated the glass free of charge.

Also on RIBA's long list for house of the year was the restoration of the Lutyen's house Folly Farm,  to which we contributed a number of structures and frames.
